Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to:
- Identify people who have not achieved recommended treatment targets for diabetes and related complication prevention
- Demonstrate the ability to identify factors that put people with diabetes at increased cardiometabolic risk based on nonglycemic issues, including hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity
- Demonstrate the ability to select interventions that blunt development of classic diabetes complications
