Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to:

  1. Discuss screening methods, causes and treatment options of erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism and metabolic syndrome

    Program Description
    The purpose of this program is to aid primary care providers in screening, detection and referral of common urological health issues. Topics to be addressed include ED/Hypogonadism and Cardiometabolic Syndrome, Geriatrics in Urology, Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS)/Overactive Bladder (OAB)/Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), Hypertension: Surgically Correctable Etiologies, Pediatric Urology, Prostate Cancer and Kidney Stone Disease.

    The American Urological Association Education & Research, Inc. (AUAER) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

    Method of Participation in the Learning Process
    Participants must complete the pre-test, view the webcast, pass the posttest with 80% accuracy and submit the evaluation to claim credit and print a certificate for this activity.

    Navigation Instructions
    A segmented, navigational bar is located at the top of the screen for participants to monitor their progress during the activity.  Each segment represents a page of the activity. As you complete each page of the activity, a pointer moves to the right.  The activity begins with a pre-test and review (pages 1-2). This is followed by the activity content/presentations (pages 3-10), activity feedback and references (page 11), posttest (pages 12-13), pre-posttest results (page 14), evaluation form (page 15) and claim credit form (page16).
